Shipping and Returns


At the Hive, our products are made to order.  We pour love into every product which takes time.  Please allow 5 Business Days for processing. Circumstances out of our control; Inclement weather, including extreme heat may cause a delay in delivery. Your patience and business is very much appreciated. 

Business Days: Monday - Friday

Order cutoff- 5pm EST. If your order is placed after this time, it will be considered part of the next business day's orders. Orders placed on weekends and holidays will be considered accepted on the following business day. 

All US and Federal holidays are honored 


While it pulls at our heart strings, we understand that our products just might not live up to your expectations. Customer satisfaction is our top priority.  If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us at for a resolution. We will happily refund you for any unused products, minus the cost of shipping. 

Please Note: we require that return shipping on returns/exchanges be paid for by the customer. 

If you are returning a candle, please return with original boxing and packaging and be sure that the candle is packed and protected during transit. Any damage incurred during return shipping will prevent your refund from being processed. 


Please take photos of the outside of the box, the contents of the box and the damage. Be sure to keep ALL packaging as you will likely be required to bring the package to your local courier for inspection. You have two options for submitting your claim.

1. You can file a claim directly with USPS/UPS online. This is the quickest method. Once your claim is approved, they will reimburse you directly.

2. We will file the claim on your behalf and issue a replacement once the claim is processed and approved. This will require you to bring the package to your local courier for inspection. The claim will not be approved without the inspection. If the claim is denied because of this, we will be unable to issue a replacement or refund. Contact us at to begin this type of claim. 

PLEASE NOTE: we cannot be held liable for damage caused by extreme temperatures.  Our products are made with a soft wax and will melt in warmer conditions. While this is not a common issue, it can happen while on a shipping truck or by sitting out in heat for just a short amount of time. This will not ruin the product, but can cause it to melt and leak out of its packaging. If you live in a warmer climate, we highly suggest you arrange pickup at your local carrier office if you are not home to retrieve deliveries in a timely manner.
