Shipping and Returns


At the Hive, our candles are made to order.  We pour love into every product which takes time.  Please allow 3-5 business days for processing.  Inclement weather, including extreme heat may cause a delay in delivery. Your patience and business is very much appreciated. 

Business Days: Monday - Friday

Order cutoff- 5pm EST. If your order is placed after this time, it will be considered part of the next business day's orders. 

All US and Federal holidays are honored and shipping will be scheduled for the following business day. 


While it pulls at our heart strings, we understand that our products just might not live up to your expectations. Customer satisfaction is our top priority.  If you are unhappy with your purchase please contact us at for a resolution. We will happily refund you for any unused products, minus the cost of shipping. 

Please Note: we require that return shipping on returns/exchanges be paid for by the customer. 

If you are returning a candle, please return with original boxing and packaging and be sure that the candle is packed and protected during transit. Any damage incurred during return shipping could prevent your refund from being processed. 


If you receive a damaged item, please contact us immediately. We require photos of the outside of the shipping box, the packaging and broken item in order within 48 hours of receiving your order. We will happily issue a replacement or a refund for the damaged item(s). 

PLEASE NOTE: we cannot be held liable for damage caused by extreme temperatures.  Our products are made with a soft wax and will melt in warmer conditions. While this is not a common issue, it can happen while on a shipping truck or by sitting out in heat for just a short amount of time. This will not ruin the product, but can cause it to melt and leak out of its packaging.
